The competition lasted from August 26 to 27 on the basis of the Institute of State Security of Ukraine of Taras Shevchenko KNU. The first place was won by a team of servicemen from the personal protection unit, and the second and third places were shared by the teams of the facilities protection unit.
In total, six teams took part in the competition: “Bulat” special forces, military personnel guarding facilities and personal security units.
Over the course of two days, servicemen competed in 5 types of all-around bodyguards: hand-to-hand combat, techniques and tactics for the protection of a person subject to state protection during foot escort; searching for “explosive” devices in a car, practical shooting, providing medical aid and overcoming an obstacle course.
