The three-day competition of bodyguards ended in Cherkasy. Athletes from the team of the Department of Personal Protection of the UDO of Ukraine became the gold medalists of the XXIII Championship of Ukraine in all-around bodyguards.
The second place was won by the team of the Security Police Department of Ukraine, and the third place was won by the team of the Department of Security of the UDO of Ukraine. Fourth in the overall team standings were participants from the NABU of the city of Kyiv, fifth – the special unit “Bulat” of the UDO of Ukraine, sixth – the State Criminal Enforcement Service of Ukraine, seventh – the NABU of the city of Kharkiv, eighth – the Federation of Mykolaiv bodyguards. The ninth and tenth places were shared by the teams of the Special Purpose Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Federation of Cherkasy Guards, respectively.
All-rounders-bodyguards were also traditionally awarded for the highest personal results in hand-to-hand combat, extreme driving and shooting, and the head of the Kyiv Association of Bodyguards Oleksandr Cherednyk awarded the title to the best bodyguard of the competition.
Organizers, judges and athletes were awarded special prizes from the partners of the event. The ceremony ended with a solemn banquet.
