ANNOUNCEMENT
MARCH 11-13 COURSE ON PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO THE WOUNDED IN COMBAT ACTIONS (TCCC-MP)

Registration has begun for a three-day course on providing assistance to the wounded in combat, which will be held from March 11 to 13, 2022 in Dnipro. Training is conducted in accordance with TSSS protocol 211215 by instructors of the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council, winners of the first international TSSS competitions in Spain (2015).

The three-day course includes – theoretical lectures, stations for practicing practical skills, tactical scenarios, and a stress test. The course ends with theoretical and practical exams, based on the results of which the cadets receive a certificate. The training program includes:

1. Providing assistance to the wounded at the stage under fire (stopping bleeding and removing the wounded).

2. Assistance according to the MARCH and PAWS algorithms.

3. Stop bleeding at the stage of tactical conditions (TFC). Use of different types of tourniquets, wound tamponade, pressure bandages.

4. Ensuring airway patency at the stage of tactical conditions (NPA, i-gel, cricothyrotomy)

5. Breath control (tension pneumothorax, needle decompression, occlusive sticker)

6. Provision of intravenous (IV) access, infusion therapy, diagnosis and treatment of shock.

7. Brain injuries, prevention of hypothermia

8. Analgesia, antibiotic prophylaxis, wound treatment, fixation of fractures.

9. Documentation (card of the injured, request for evacuation)

10. Additional opportunities at the TACEVAC stage.

Tuition fee for 1 person: UAH 4,000. The cost of the course does not include accommodation and meals during the course. The subscription amount is not returned in case of absence of the registered person at the course. Registration is mandatory and is considered valid on the condition that a subscription of at least UAH 1,000 is made by March 1, 2022.
