The team of the Federation of Bodyguards of the Dnipropetrovsk Region will take part in the XXI Ukrainian All-Around Championship among bodyguards, which will be held from May 8 to 10, 2018 in Vinnitsa.
Bodyguards will traditionally compete in eight all-around events, including techniques and tactics for protecting VIPs while escorting on foot, individual high-speed shooting from different positions, shooting from a vehicle, and target shooting while escorting VIPs on foot. In addition, teams will compete in hand-to-hand combat, providing medical care, overcoming an obstacle course in a car, and searching for explosive devices in a car. In total, about 20 teams are expected.
Let us remind you that bodyguard all-around has been registered in Ukraine as an official sport since 2001. During the competition, multi-athlete bodyguards receive sports categories, the titles of Masters of Sports of Ukraine and Masters of Sports of international class. At the moment, the Dnepropetrovsk Federation of Bodyguards has 4 masters of sports and 4 active all-around judges. In total, the basket of bodyguards from the Dnepropetrovsk Federation has 5 team victories and more than 10 in the individual competition.
