FTDO MEMBERS ATTENDED THE V SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ON THE TRAINING OF SECURITY PERSONNEL AND SUBJECTS OF SECURITY ACTIVITIES

On May 24, in Lviv, the heads of educational institutions for the training of security personnel and subjects of security activity once again discussed the current problems of the security services market and ways to improve the quality of the provision of security services. The event gathered more than a hundred visitors, among whom were members of the Federation of Bodyguards of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.

During the conference, they discussed the specifics of the tender procurement of security services through the “Prozoro” system, as well as the problem of the general understaffing of security personnel at most security enterprises, where the price of security services was low.

Urgent for BFDR was the speech of Serhii Hryvniak, head of UOAZOR, on the topic of the interaction of the security business with state law enforcement agencies, namely, the integration of private security structures into a single information system with the National Police. The desire for such an association has existed for more than a decade, both among law enforcement officers and representatives of business structures. However, as the speaker noted, the current problem is the lack of technical capabilities to establish interaction.

During the second part of the event, the realities and prospects of providing personal protection services in Ukraine were considered. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Personal Guards, Oleg Konchakivskyi, spoke about the work of the association in the direction of creating a new state standard for the “Guardian” profession. According to him, the issue of obtaining a permit for the use of short-barreled firearms in private security structures is on the agenda.
